Your projects on Mac
Use the app’s book and chapter management controls to remove projects you no longer need. Before deleting, export any chapter snapshots you want to keep. For a complete backup, stop the engine and preserve the full media folder, including its Library directory and any separate book working folders; a chapter ZIP is a current-media snapshot, not a full history backup.
Your media and exports
Find the current media location in Settings → Engine & Storage. Files copied or exported elsewhere, including external drives and backups, remain until you remove them separately. Uninstalling the application alone does not erase these files or the local database.
Your keys and remote services
Remove saved credentials in Settings → Connections where supported, or manage Chapterframe items in macOS Keychain. Revoke the corresponding API keys in the provider’s dashboard to prevent further access. Remote GPU instances and storage are separate resources: stop or delete them in the provider account when no longer needed.
Data held by a provider
Use your selected generation or hosting provider’s account controls and privacy contact to request removal of submitted inputs, outputs, or request records. Deleting a local chapter does not send deletion requests to those services.
Website and email
The website does not create an account or collect support form contents. If you send a support email and want us to remove the message or its attachments, contact support@chapterframe.ai and describe the request without resending sensitive files.
Analytics and consent
Open Settings → Analytics to turn off Share usage analytics. In the consent-enabled update, sharing starts off and requires an affirmative choice; earlier versions enabled it by default. Turning it off stops future events and resets local analytics data. Contact support@chapterframe.ai to ask about previously collected information.
Purchases, licenses and automation
Use Manage or cancel subscription to stop future Stripe renewals, and the refund policy to request a refund. These are separate from deleting data or deactivating a Mac. Contact us for access, correction or deletion of purchase, Keygen license and Zapier fulfillment records. We may need to preserve records required for legal obligations or an ongoing license.
Future web accounts
The public web edition is coming soon. Its account and deletion controls will be documented before public access opens. This page does not claim that a web-account deletion service is available today.
