Direct-download software license
Chapterframe for Mac is sold directly by StepSync Solutions LLC through Stripe. The Chapterframe Mac End User License Agreement governs the downloaded software. Apple does not sell or process refunds for these direct purchases.
Your material and permissions
You are responsible for having the permissions needed to upload, adapt, generate from, and distribute your manuscripts, recordings, images, performances, voices, and other source material. Providing a creation tool does not grant rights in a book, recording, person’s likeness, voice, or third-party work.
Your creative decisions
Review generated outputs before using or publishing them. Generation can introduce inconsistencies, errors, or material you did not intend. You remain responsible for the content you choose, the claims you make, and the finished work you distribute.
Providers, rendering, and charges
Third-party model services, render servers, GPU rentals, and storage are governed and billed by their respective providers. Costs may continue while instances are idle or after the app closes. The website calculator compares selected workloads using saved pricing snapshots and editable planning assumptions. It is not a live quote, total-cost estimate, or guarantee of savings. Subscription credit-value estimates differ from the actual monthly bill.
Availability and your files
Services can be interrupted or changed, and generation results are not guaranteed. Keep independent backups of your database and media. Check the listed requirements and edition limits before installing or paying for related services.
App purchase and ongoing updates
Chapterframe for Mac costs $199 USD once, including the first 365 days of updates and support. The updates subscription begins with purchase and automatically bills $10 USD/month after 365 days until canceled. The separate updates-only subscription starts billing immediately. Manage or cancel your subscription at any time before renewal to stop future charges. You keep using your purchased version after cancellation.
Refunds and consumer rights
Direct purchases are covered by our 14-day refund policy. Request a refund from support@chapterframe.ai, not Apple. Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not by itself request a refund. This policy is additional to mandatory consumer rights, which these terms do not exclude or restrict.
